Seven Shopify Data Entry Expert Tips
Seven checks for product data before a Shopify upload: naming rules, variants, images, descriptions, and tags.
Done-for-you label data entry
Ingredient lists, serving sizes, directions, and warnings go into Shopify exactly as your label reads, with every size, count, and flavor set up as a variant.
Free, custom quote for every job. No price list.

At a glance
We are a done-for-you service for Shopify stores that sell supplements, wellness products and health equipment. You send the supplier files, label images, and product photos, and our team enters and uploads every product. Here are the key facts in one place.

The problem, and the fix
Most of the work is in the label. One supplement can carry a long ingredient list, a serving size, directions, and warnings, and every word on the product page has to match the pack your customer receives.
How we fix it:We transcribe ingredients, directions, and warnings from the label or spec sheet into the same fields on every product, then check the text against the source before upload.
How we fix it:We set up one product with Count, Size, or Flavor options, so every combination becomes a variant with its own SKU, barcode, price, and weight.
How we fix it:We use the wording you or your supplier approve. We never add health claims, and we don't assess the claims in supplier copy: that review stays with you.
How we fix it:We don't pick one ourselves. We list each mismatch and ask you which source is current before anything goes live.
How we fix it:We apply one title pattern, such as Brand + Product + Form + Size, so products sort, search, and read the same way across your catalog.
How we fix it:We enter the weight of every variant from the supplier's spec sheet, because Shopify uses product weight to calculate shipping rates.
What we handle
We handle the label details, variants, product facts, images, and collections for each product. Label wording is entered exactly as your supplier or packaging provides it, so your product page matches what the customer receives.

Here is how a supplement line with an incomplete spec sheet becomes one Shopify-ready product. The product and its data are an example, not a real client.
The supplier's spreadsheet has one row per flavor and size, two ways of writing the weight, and no ingredient text. The ingredients exist only on the label artwork:
| Item code | Description | Flavour | Size | Ingredients | Directions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PP-VAN-500 | Plant Protein Vanilla 500g | Vanilla | 500g | See label | 1 scoop in 250ml water |
| PP-VAN-1K | Plant Protein 1kg VAN | Van. | 1 kg | See label | Mix 30g with water |
| PP-CAC-500 | Plant Protein Cacao 500g | Cacao | 0.5kg | See label | 1 scoop in 250ml water |
We set it up as one product with two options. 3 flavors × 2 sizes = 6 variants, and the label details are entered once on the product, word for word:
| Detail | Where it goes | Entered as |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Product title | Plant Protein Powder |
| Flavor | Option 1 (3 values) | Vanilla, Cacao, Unflavored |
| Size | Option 2 (2 values) | 500 g (1.1 lb), 1 kg (2.2 lb) |
| Item code | Variant SKU | PP-VAN-500, PP-VAN-1K and so on |
| Barcode | Variant barcode | The GTIN from the supplier, one per variant |
| Ingredients | Product field shown on the page | Typed from the label artwork, in label order |
| Directions | Product field shown on the page | Mix 1 scoop (30 g) with 250 mL (8.5 fl oz) of water |
| Weight | Variant weight | From the spec sheet, per size |
Shopify allows up to three options per product and up to 2,048 variants (as of October 2026, see the Shopify Help Center). A third option, such as a 60 or 120 count, multiplies the rows again.
Send us a supplier file like this, and we'll quote the job.

We upload supplements, fitness equipment, personal care, medical devices, and organic products. Each range carries different product data, so here is what we enter for each one.
Health & Wellness Supplements
Capsules, tablets, powders, gummies, and liquids, where the label text and the pack size have to match the product exactly.
Health & Wellness Fitness Equipment
Dumbbells, kettlebells, mats, benches, and home gym machines, where weight, dimensions, and what's in the box decide the sale.
Health & Wellness Personal Care
Oral care, body care, deodorants, shaving, and hygiene products, often sold in several sizes, scents, and multipacks.
Health & Wellness Medical Devices
Home-use devices such as blood pressure monitors, thermometers, supports, and mobility aids, where model numbers and specifications matter.
Health & Wellness Organic Products
Organic powders, teas, and oils sold for wellness, where certification marks often appear only on the pack and the wording must match your supplier's.
How it works
You send supplier files, label images, and photos, we reply with a free, custom quote, and then every job runs in the same four steps.
We gather descriptions, images, and specifications from you and your suppliers. We can hold publishing until a launch date you set.
Spec sheets, label artwork, and pack photos. We can hold a new product line until your launch date.
We fix inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and standardize names, sizes, and formats to your store's conventions.
Titles follow one pattern and units follow one format, such as 500 g (1.1 lb). Label wording isn't changed.
We check everything for accuracy, clarity, and searchability before it goes live.
Ingredients, directions, and warnings are checked against the label images before upload.
We upload and publish to your store, formatted and ready for customers, with progress updates along the way.
On a large range we can start with a small test batch so you can check the label details, then upload the rest.

FAQ
Yes, we upload health and wellness products to Shopify for you, with label details entered exactly as supplied and no health claims added. These answers cover labels, claims, variants, and cost.
No. We enter ingredients, directions, warnings, and any claims exactly as your supplier or label provides them, and we don't review them for compliance. Labeling rules differ by country, so confirm them with your supplier or the regulator where you sell, such as the FDA in the United States or the TGA in Australia.
No. We don't add health claims. Product pages use the wording you or your supplier approve, and we don't assess the claims in supplier copy, so that review stays with you.
Tell us when you ask for a quote. Most jobs start from supplier spreadsheets or spec sheets, and your quote says how we will handle any details that exist only on label artwork or pack photos.
As one product with options. A protein powder in 3 flavors and 2 sizes becomes 6 variants, each with its own SKU, barcode, price, and weight. A capsule product in 60 and 120 counts becomes 2 variants.
Your supplier spreadsheets or spec sheets, label artwork or clear photos of the front and back of each pack, product images, and your naming rules. Tell us which details your store shows, such as ingredients, directions, or dietary attributes.
A free, custom quote. The label work sets the size of the job: a single-size balm has one ingredient list, while a supplement range in 4 flavors and 3 sizes has 12 variants, each with its own label details, SKU, and barcode.
