How much does a Shopify product upload service cost?
Every job starts with a free, custom quote. Pricing is flexible and depends on the size of your business: smaller stores often pay per product, and larger stores can move to a monthly retainer for an unlimited number of products. The quote depends on how many products and variants you have, which fields you need filled, whether you need descriptions written or images optimized, and how complete your supplier data is.
Is this service expensive?
You know the cost before any work starts. We don't use one price for everyone: we look at your products and the work they need, then send a free, custom quote that covers only that work.
Can I try your service before I commit?
Yes. Free trial: send us a sample of your product data and we show you what we would do with it. Pick it in the form on this page, or email hello@productuploads.com.

Do it yourself
Uploading products in Shopify yourself
Shopify lets you add products one at a time in the admin, or many at once with a CSV file. These answers cover what store owners ask most when they do it themselves.
How do I upload products to Shopify quickly?
Use a CSV file. In the Shopify admin, go to Products > Import and upload a file built from Shopify's product CSV template (UTF-8, 15 MB or smaller). One file adds many products at once, with each variant on its own row under the same handle. When you would rather hand the work over, our Product Uploading service prepares, checks, and uploads the file for you.
Can you bulk upload products on Shopify?
Yes. Shopify's product CSV file adds or updates many products in one upload. Large catalogs are often split into several files, and testing a small batch first catches mistakes before they reach every product. Our Bulk Product Uploading service runs the whole job for you.
Why won't my products upload to Shopify from a CSV file?
Most failed uploads come from the file itself: it is not saved as UTF-8, it is larger than 15 MB, a column header was renamed or removed, variants of one product don't share the same handle, or image links are not publicly reachable. Fix those, test with a few rows, then upload the rest. Our guide to preparing products for a Shopify upload covers the checks.
Can you bulk upload collections in Shopify?
Collections fill in bulk through rules. An automated collection adds every product that matches conditions such as product type, vendor, or tag, so setting those fields in your product file places products in the right collections when they upload. Our guide to Shopify collections and categories explains both.
What is the upload limit for Shopify?
The product CSV file you upload under Products > Import must be 15 MB or smaller and saved as UTF-8. For a bigger catalog, split it into several files and upload them one after another.
How do I bulk upload prices on Shopify?
Export your products to a CSV file, change the Variant Price column (and Variant Compare At Price for sale prices), then upload the file under Products > Import with the option to overwrite products with matching handles turned on. For a few products, Shopify's bulk editor lets you change prices in a grid. Check a handful of products afterward.
How do I post a product on Shopify?
In the Shopify admin, go to Products > Add product. Enter the title, description, media, price, inventory, and variants, set the status to Active, and save. For more than a few products, a CSV file is quicker, or our team can post them for you.
